What a pleasant thought. Do you also kick your cat?

Yes, no sense of humour! So far I have not seen much sign of what you
might call "humour" from anyone on this forum, including yourself.

"Overrated underrated" is, by the way, NOT a silly phrase, Alan. It is
a very useful one, as it applies perfectly to Mr. Levy. He might in
fact be the perfect candidate for that term. Other examples have been
cited by Ian Pace, who seems also to find that it fits!

You can also add "unknown" to Levy, whereas the same cannot be applied
to Fevrier, whom most lovers of French piano-playing knew in one way
or another.

I did indeed forget my own retort, perhaps used, in the heat of
argument, merely to erase the overstatement by yourself.

Fevrier was never overrated. He wasn't even underrated. He was, in
fact, fairly unknown. It would surprise me a great deal, Alan, if he
ever crossed the Atlantic or even the English Channel, but others can
perhaps supply that information.
