For a while I did watch some Friends and Seinfeld episodes. I've also watched a few Trading Spaces episodes (mostly garbage), but that's about it. But I can imagine what you mean. McMansions are pretty common down here in SE Florida. Some are okay, but most are either overdone, or the detailing is incorrect as far as proper use of the ornamental pieces of the greco-roman language. Classic blunders are oversized or undersized column capitals with respect to beams they are 'supporting'; columns which are too slender; no top cornice; no attempt at bottom middle and top subdivisions when a lot of other gingerbread stuff is going on; overdetailied cornices and lack any other trim; stucco bands or arches which are too thick; no base detailing; etc. etc. Marcello
