Great! Great question! Glad you like this cycle... sadly, mention of
VL-C in this forum is almost non-existent. Only other piece besides
Sark by him that had been mentioned was something callled Nosferatu,
as published, IIRC, by Paul Magnussen's mag. Perhaps Paul could relay
this query to Mr. VL-C? Other than that, I suppose we could query VL-C
through his publishing web-site (http://www.simplyguitar.co.uk/),
which I just tried going to and got an "access denied" error!) or
through his home page (which gives a does not exist type of error!)
grrrr...
Anyway, I think he is in the heap of obscure composers that write pretty spiffy music! (psst... Klaus, he should be in your list, eh?).
Just to get another mention of VL-C in for Greg :-)
He is (or was 5 years ago when I saw them at my local high school) a member of "The Segovia Trio", a classical guitar trio based here in the UK. They performed a programme of classical guitar music and also covered some rock and jazz classics such as "Sultans of Swing" and "Sweet Georgia Brown". Very enjoyable, and if they are still touring I would recommend seeing them.
