Safe as Milk has the most straightforward blues songs. Spotlight Kid is
probably next. There are some of us who feel that Trout Mask Replica is
pure delta blues that's been through the Captain's unique filter, but I
can see where that's an arguable claim. There are some actual covers of
Howlin Wolf etc. on Grow Fins, but I wouldn't expect the casual fan
could justify that box's price tag.
