Could live without it. One very slight difference I noticed on one listening (don't have the CD yet): They did a better job of cutting out the final "All I want is you" this time around. John or Paul ended it with a falsetto note that Phil Spector failed to cut out on the 1970 album _ sort of like John's last little breath singing "going dow-ow-own" that survived just before the solo on Happiness Is a Warm Gun. > 6. I thought it was the same version, but there are a few vocal interjections, mainly by Paul, that I hadn't heard before. Probably from the other take, I guess. > 8. I like this one _ maybe not better than the single, but I'm glad to have it. > 11. Let It Be - My favorite still is the Let It Be track because of > George's gritty album solo. Based on one hearing, I'm pretty sure this isn't the version from the movie. That one had an extra chorus before the solo, if I recall correctly, and also the last line ended with "There will be no sorrow," to rhyme with "Shine until tomorrow." This one doesn't, unless I missed it. -- Bob G. -- All follow-ups are directed to the newsgroup rec.music.beatles.moderated.
