>Paul-MPL-Apple- & Viacom may come to a agreement that allows CBS to >reair, The Beatles on Ed Sullivan on November 26th. Its possible MPL >might allow CBS to ReAir Other McCartney Specials to fill in, the >Space left by Jackson. Better To view Recent and or old new Paul & >Beatles, than a reairing of he CBS 75th anniversary. Do you agree? Number 1 -- all the Beatles related specials were aired on ABC, not CBS Number 2 -- is this all just pure speculation on your part or is there a seed of truth to this? Where did "The Beatles on Ed Sullivan" come from? You make it sound like it was a special that was on recently, or perhaps you expect them to air a 30 year old program? If CBS needs to fill in a two hour timeslot they will do it with either an "encore" of CBS at 75 or stick in a movie. There is no reason to promote another celebrity unless MPL or someone offers up something. And that something would likely be under contract with another network anyway (ie: beatles ABC specials. -paul
