Actually Paul's solo career has followed a quite similar pattern to
his days with the Beatles.  If his Beatles work is listed in
chronological order and distilled it is pretty consistent with his
solo work-- i.e. a totally brilliant song, a couple darnright
excellent pieces, some OK stuff and some what was he thinking
nonsense.

Stuff like Live and Let Die, Jet, etc. are just as good as anything he
did with the Beatles.
