Re: FANS MORE FORGIVING OF ZEPPELIN?

Kiss really got attacked for using keyboards. But when Led Zeppelin released IN

layers of keyboards. Maybe I just don't remember. I remember that "In the
evening" and "All my love" were BIG hits, and were played on the rock stations
constantly.

There was some criticism. However JPJ had used keyboards quite a bit on past albums (No Quarter on HOTH comes to mind). I think Zep fans just saw it as them trying to continue to grow as a band.

Also, ITTOD didn't sound like it was selling out. Dynasty (and Unmasked) did.

In the future please don't compare KISS and Zep. There isn't any. Zep is the stuff of legend and has *true* quality in the music. KISS, by comparison, wrote about 7 albums worth of really great material. The rest is, arguably, crap.
