I like those types of ideas, I just wonder how many other entities (record & 
publishing companies) would come out of the woodwork with their palms open.

Bill Mallonee from Vigilantes of Love once put an album out on Core records 
(same record company that Ed Roland of Collective Soul used to put his solo 
album out on) that he was never paid for. It was pretty common practice to 
send Bill a fiver everytime you ran across a copy of the album in the cut-out 
bin.
