"Karen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Whatever happened with that DVD that was supposed to be being made from > a show in the Bay Area a few summers back? > > -Karen- > The show was filmed by students from a film school in Berkeley (or someplace like that). It was aired on direct TV (or something like that), during a freebie weekend they had. Those who were able to see it, should easily understand why the DVD was not made. The quality of the filming was pretty poor. Lots of shaking cameras and bad shots. This was too bad, because the shows that weekend were amazing. The sound is good on the video, but it was hard to watch with out getting seasick at times. They were just not up to professional quality. Hopefully Bruce will decide to try this on his own, with professional videographers. It would be great to have a real show on video. Perhaps he'll do this in conjunction with "Bride of the Noisemakers". Not that the Night on the Town DVD isn't of a 'real show', but it's pretty tame compared to the shows he does today. It does, however, have some amazing shots of Bruce and Jerry doing that musically-psychic communication that chokes me up every time I watch it. <sigh> Take good care, all...
