[[ This message was both posted and mailed: see the "To," "Cc," and "Newsgroups" headers for details. ]] My wife thinks i ought to have my head examined for jumping into this, but here goes: First, I can't and won't and wouldn't want to speak for Brad. He and I have had serious differences, mostly over money. But I truly believe he takes pride in his honor (yes, some out there are having a hard time controlling their laughter at these words) and sees this monetary issue as temporary. In other words, I feel certain he does plan to perform on his obligation to those who've sent him money for his book. The question is how and when, and i have no idea what the answer to that question is. Of course his lack of communication is largely inexcusable, but I do not think that by itself makes him a crook. Frankly, this pattern is pretty much par for the course with him. Obviously, for those who can be patient the months and possibly years will go by faster and less stressfully. Bottom line: This is what doing business with Brad looks and feels like. It's up to each and every one of us to decide if it is worth it in the end. One thing I can promise all of you is that no matter how much money you're out in your dealing with Brad, there are some among us who have lost far more than they can hope to ever get back.
