And yet, there are some constants that remain in a cappella,
regardless of group or style.

For instance, California entertainment law dictates that a cappella
groups be paid by the note, which means vocal percussionists
unfortunately are paid little or nothing. I've tried fighting this is
court, but haven't had any luck whatsoever. I'll usually pitch in a
couple bucks, so the nice folks in the hotel will let Wes sleep in a
linen closet, but not everyone is as thoughtful as I am.

What's common practice in Florida, Rene?
