Just curious as to why, but traditionally gas has been less expensive in Southern NJ vs the same gas brand in Northern NJ.I'm going to guess this is because the northern part of the state sees a lot of through traffic from PA and NY, and has a lot more people living there.
Over the last few days for instance, regular grade gas bottoms out at about $1.309/gal in Ocean County along US Rt 9, while going North on the same Rt 9, the price goes up to about $1.439/gal for the same stuff. I think this has been kind of a tradition in NJ, remembering seeing gas at about $0.759/gal a few summers ago in Southern NJ, while it was more expensive up North.
