Re: Character References For M.Mariners Document

I got my license a couple of years ago and the USCG has yet to contact any
of my references. You could probably list Mickey Mouse, Santa Claus, and
Pope Paul and get by with it. I think that the intent of the references is
to have people that will vouch for your integrity and general character. If
you've got people that will "stand up" for you, you're more likely to be one
to comply with rules & regs than a friendless rouge.
