The Greek agapao used in John 13, 20 & 21 can mean to welcome, to
entertain, to be fond of, or to love dearly. Definitely no proof. The
Greek phileo in John 20 can mean to approve of, to like, sanction, to
treat affectionately or kindly, to welcome, or befriend. Again, no
proof at all.

So the guy was a nut who followed Jesus around. Says nothing.

Jesus didn't even go to the centurion's house. Doesn't say anything
about Jesus having a 'lover'. Maybe he healed the guys lover. That's
only compassion.
