Moving a small grain bin

My BIL has some small grain bins that are not being used. I want them to
make goose houses.

I don't know how many bushels they are, but they are about 6 feet high at
the peak and maybe 7-8 feet diameter. They are set into concrete, not
bolted, the metal was stuck into it.

I'm thinking I can use a cutting torch to cut them off, then lift them onto
a trailer with the loader. As usual, I don't know how to do this.

If I cut them with a torch, do I just go around and when I'm done it will be
loose? Should I cut part way, then stick some 2x4's or something under the
cut part to hold it up? It's not critical if they get dinged up some, but I
don't want to cut, only to find I'm stuck again.

If I attach a chain or strap around the top, should that hold the weight of
the bin? How much do these things weigh anyways? Maybe I ought to forego
the loader and just roll them up onto the trailer? Maybe I ought to put
them on their sides, then lift with the loader? Get a couple kids to help
me pick them up?

I've been wanting these for months, but hubby is never going to get around
to it. Time for me to just go ahead and figure it out on my own. He hates
it when I do that, but I successfully moved my new brooders (after he told
me not too) today. Piece of cake, picked them right up and dropped them
where I wanted them. I'm all confident now, so maybe I ought to go after
those bins :)
