30 or 40 years ago, that little charade used to work on the cops. But not
any more. Cops have gotten wise to insurance and injury scams.
One time I was backing out of a parking lot space and played bumper tag with
a car coming around the corner of the building. The gal was all hot and
bitchin about the damage I did to her car. Not a scratch. The car looked
like it had seen enough war fare. We went through the process of exchanging
information. My insurance agent called me and said my rates were going up.
Six months later I got to see the gal's car again and it had been totally
restored.
Never again will I settle for that kind of bullshit scam.

At least you got to deal with an insurance company that was nice to you.
