If you bought the car in good faith, there probably was a sale all right, although unfortunately it's hard for you to prove it right now. But there apparently were witnesses, etc. etc. To set all this straight probably involves a certain amount of lawyering, maybe a lot of that. Maybe you can get some free or low-cost legal services from a law school clinic, or something of that nature. Just wondering, are you a gullible person ?
