Because people are morons. I am only having 2, but that is what is
right for us. Not right for the whole world... but for us. I know
that people who have 2 kids thinks that the whole world should have 2.

I wanted another girl. I am having a boy (and I am now excited about
him coming rather than being disappointed that he is not a she). Most
people have made stupid comments like, "Oh that is great. You have a
matching set." I have been know to reply, "No, 2 girls would be a
matching set."

Or another one that gets me. A couple of DH's friends have told him
that "he was a real man because you are having a son." I have been
known to tell them that "he is a real man because he loves and takes
care of his family. He was always a real man. He would have been a
real man even if he never had children." I mean, if having a boy
makes DH a real man, what does that say about my daughter? Is she
nothing because she doesn't have a penis?

As I said, people are morons.
