I know that the rashes can come about days after starting the drugs, even after the child seems to be tolerating it well. Have you tried Benadryl for the symptoms of the rash? I'd stay away from the antibiotics, have the pediatrician make a note in his chart and move on. Don't stress, it really looks like an allergic reaction to me. - Jen
