Description:   A growth company in the food/beverage industry is searching for two 
part time merchandisers for their Chicago operation. The individuals hired must have 
reliable transportation and have at least one year experience in merchandising/sales 
of products to supermarkets The invididuals hired will be responsible for retail level 
aspects of the merchandising of company branded products within assigned 
territories.The person will be responsible for selected stores on a pre-determined 
scheduled basis in assuring up-sells/monitors retail distribution of head quarter 
authorized products in all chain stores. In addition, rotates, faces up, and stocks 
all RP products as needed on all store calls and removes all out dated and/or 
substandard product from shelves on all store calls. In addition, will monitor and 
re-merchandise to assist with chain mandated schematic compliance or better on all 
calls, if pertinent. In addition, will merchandises the company section to maintain 
‘best practices’ on all calls, if pertinent and assist in all requested  re-set/grand 
opening activity in responsible territory and blitz re-set projects as needed. In 
addition, the person will apply/monitor all  company POS material at shelf/on package 
as authorized including, but not limited to, IRC coupons, ‘off the shelf’ dispensers, 
shelf talkers, channel strips, brochures. In addition, the person will interact with 
consumer at shelf to secure brand loyalty of company product by distributing 
authorized materials including coupons, brochures, and premiums. In addition, will 
monitor/relay competitive recon observations on sell-through, pricing, authorizations, 
marketing programs as well as quality observations on all finished goods product on 
all store calls for HOTMAIL review. The person will also educate department managers 
within the retail locations of all marketing programs of the company utilizesyndicated
