Duration:
Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
required.
8yrs IT exp required.
Exp with the configuration and setup of the SAP EH&S module
Excellent PC skills, with proficiency in Microsoft products.
Exp with programming Visual Basic or .NET applications.
Exp with SQL programming using either Oracle or MS SQL Server.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to
work with corporate/refinery personnel and other industry
contacts.
Ability to work independently with little supervision and work
efficiently in a team environment. Some travel required.
Scope: Provides Environmental, Health and Safety application
development services to various business units to include
business process analysis, data requirement definition,
formulation of solutions to business problems, development, and
implementation of appropriate system based solutions. Formulates
and defines systems scope and objectives for assigned projects.
Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems
considering computer equipment capacity and limitations,
operating time and form of desired results. Prepares detailed
specifications from which programs will be written. Performs
system configuration, testing, debugging and documentation.
Conducts quality assurance review. Completes projects within
monetary and time budget constraints, and user satisfaction.
