This position is responsible for supervising daily operation of Immunology Lab. Major responsibilities include ensuring that the systems are developed, implemented and maintained for the following: laboratory operates in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Control Test Procedures (CTPs) and specifications, staffs are trained on the required procedures and analytical techniques, good documentation practices are followed in the laboratory, all the laboratory equipments are qualified and/or calibrated for the intended use, All testings are completed, including special project/protocol testing in a timely manner. Adequate safety measures are up to date and monitored in the lab. System is in place for staff development. Work with operation for exception investigation and closure of exception reports (Out Of Specification, Out Of Range and Out Of Limit) The supervisor also has to proactively initiate and participate in continue improvement projects that improve operation efficiency and financial performance. 1st shift. Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry or related Sciences with at least two to 3 years pharmaceutical experience. MS is preferred. Must possess excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with subordinates, peers and managers. Must have working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices and other industry regulations. Good judgment in technical assessment, analytical and detail-oriented, and good problem solving skills required. Knowledge and experience with human plasma products desirable.
