Skills:       BA or MS to include a minimum of twelve (12) hours in management
              science, computer science, information systems, and/or data
              processing.
              5+yrs exp using Oracle Enterprise Edition (7.x, 8i and 9i) RDBMS,
              with recent experience with Oracle 9i. Considerable knowledge of
              Oracle relational database and development environment.
              Recent exp coding Java stored procedures in a J2EE environment.
              Exp designing integrated multi-user systems.
              Knowledge of applications development, configuration management,
              testing and performance management tools used in a J2EE
              environment.
              2yrs exp with Sun Solaris or Linux.
              Exp with database tuning, maintenance backup procedures and
              archiving.
              Good Interpersonal skills. Ability to function effectively as a
              member of a team.
              Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
              Recent exp with XML document processing in conjunction with a
              RDBMS.
              Exp with a web based content management system design including
              database design.
              Exp in handling a large database.
              Exp with Java Server Pages and JavaScript.
              Clustering experience.
              Data warehouse experience.
              Writing adapter programs for image data.
              Exp rehosting/reengineering from Legacy Systems to open
              systems/Web environments.



Scope:        Create and manage Oil and Gas Migration Project databases
              implemented using Oracle 9i R2. Consult with application teams to
              develop plans and procedures for migration of legacy applications
              to the Oracle database environment. Perform database tuning,
              maintenance, backup and archiving. Facilitate and assist with
              database modeling for specific application migration projects.
              Develop UNIX shell scripts and Java stored procedures. Utilize
              the XDB feature for versioning in the Oracle 9i environment.
              Create Java stored procedures to store and return XML documents
              from the Oracle database.
