Advisory Software Engineer

Experience developing code generators, debuggers, linkers, profilers,
simulators, or similar tools is a MUST. You also need to exhibit a
strong unders! tanding of memory management, threads, signal and
exception handling. Strong Unix and C/C++ development is required, and
knowledge of SPARC assembly language, ELF and DWARF (or any other
object code and debug formats) is a definite PLUS. Experience as a
technical lead is desirable, and you must be comfortable
working/debugging at the assembly level. Degree Required: Computer
Science/Computer Engineering. Strong Unix systems programming, C/C++
proficiency, and Assembly Language programming/debugging. Familiarity
with Object File Formats, familiarity with ELF/DWARF recommended,
Memory management and threads, Signal handing and exception handling
and Linker/debugger/code-generator experience. Familiarity with JVMs,
and working knowledge of PurifyPlus. This position is located in our
Cupertino, CA facility. NO RELOCATION AVAILABLE.
