I remember the UK $5 pound and then $2.40 in the late '60s. What this really says is that the British have been getting poorer relative to their American cousins. They brough this upon themselves with their Socialism and its high cost to everyone. They are not alone though because many European counties have taken the same path. I'm sure Warren and Geo didn't run out yesterday and short the dollar. Bottom line? Follow the dollar. Where is it going these days? East of NY or West of CA? ---- On 29 Nov 2003 11:40:06 -0800, (John Whitley) wrote: >The U.S. dollar continues its slow-motion collapse, spurred on now by >the news that both George Soros and Warren Buffett are 'speculating'
