Hi,
??? They sell you PRESSURIZED air for your tires. (Here in Madison they
give pressurized air away, probably to encourage you to buy their
gasoline). At any rate it costs money to pressurize the air. So who
should pay?

"Land owners"? I thought it was Perrier and other bottling companies, who
don't necessarily own the land, just the water rights. At any rate Madison
has great city supplied drinking water. But I have seen people here buying
bottled water at $1.75 for 500 ml while standing beside a water fountain
where they could get better (in my opinion) water for free.
This just shows that lots of Americans have more dollars than sense.

I hope you have some better examples than the 2 above.

Some of my rich yuppie friends also just can't understand why anyone would
shop at Wal-Mart, instead of at the pricey boutiques where they shop. Or
why anyone would buy "non-Organic" cucumbers for 50 cents when they can
get USDA Certified Organic ones for $3.50 each.
