In other words, is this the kind of the manager who, back in 1999, told customers that their portfolios lagged the market because he tried to avoid overpriced mania stocks, or is the manager more like Joe Batagglia in early 2000, who said that the tech market would continue to rise because of new economies of scale afforded by the Internet?
