They will know the mistakes your company has made, and why and will give you the straight scoop on what you will need to succeed. I know, I know.... this goes against the grain of everything we have heard about salespeople. But in my over 40 years as a manufacturing engineer/manager I have always used the supplier sales people to get me up and running in a hurry. It does not take long to discover where they start going astray toward their particular brand. But it would take you years to read through all the stuff and perform all the experiments necessary to come up to speed. Find out where and when the next composite show is to be held and plan on being there a day in advance to be invited to the various exhibitor open houses which is where you will really get to know who and what in that industry. Wayne Would appreciate feedback on my son's innovative product www.rcsailcars.com
