Seller as beneficiary ?

My godson works for a big insurance/investment firm, and is preparing a life
insurance policy for my wife and I.

We would like to name him as beneficiary, in the event of both our deaths,
but wonder if there is some law or statute that would disallow this.

Anyone have a clue ?
