It was bad enough when I had to train my replacement - an H-1B temporary cheap foreign worker. When out of high tech work, I couldn't even get a landscaping job because I didn't speak spanish. Now, tens of thousands of high tech and support jobs are moving to India. The L-1 visa worker (who works here for his foreign company) is the facilitator of the offshoring mechanism. The Chile and Singapore trade agreements signed a few months ago allow unlimited numbers of L-1 visa workers into the country. The Administration clearly knows what they are doing, and it is clearly un-American. Worst of all is that the administration and BOTH political parties are tripping over themselves to cater to illegal aliens and to keep borders open. Republicans want the cheap labor. Democrats realize that (legal and illegal) Hispanics will make up about half of the country's population in 50 years. The Democratic party has said "to hell with America's future". Instead of promoting national security and closing our borders to illegal aliens, the Democratic party has sold out in order to pander to the Hispanic vote. Mass immigration is driving U.S. population to DOUBLE this century: www.Census.org. For an excellent and easily read explanation, see www.NumbersUSA.org . It is not to late to regain control of our borders and our country. But it will take politicians and political parties dedicated to America's future to do so.
