Needed Sr. MS SQL Server developer / administrator

Currently we are seeking a Senior MS SQL Server developer / administrator

Core Job Responsibilities:
. The ability to design and code database applications that perform
efficiently, are operationally stable, and meet the business requirements.
. Manages own work to meet schedule and communicates regularly on progress.
. A solid working knowledge of SQL Server, Windows, and development
practices for working with a team of developers.
. Follows up with bugs in an efficient manner, including working hand in
hand with Test, PM and/or Analysis.

Unique Job Responsibilities:
. Code and test SQL Server database applications that support the
requirements defined by users, product managers, and analysts.
. Deliver assignments according to a schedule.
. Participate in design reviews and code reviews.
. A solid working knowledge of SQL Server.
. Assist Test and Production Support teams with installation of the
application.
. Analyze applications and make necessary changes to optimize performance.
. Create scripts to maintain database objects.

Requirements/Qualifications
+ Four Year college degree
+ 3-5 years experience in the following (must have):
- Experience with MS SQL Server or comparable DBMS
- SQL coding to include DDL, DML ,Stored Procedures, and Triggers
- Physical database design
- Performance / Load / Stress -tolerant design
- Distributed databases
- Analysis
+ Soft Skills:
- Good written and oral communication skills required
- Sound problem resolution, judgment, negotiating and decision making skills
required
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
