E2 versus L-1A

I would appreciate your help.

My husband and I have a fine art gallery in the uk with 1 full time and
1 part time member of staff besides ourselves.  We have made an offer on
a gallery in the USA and were going to apply for E2 investor visas.

We have since been made aware of the L1-A visa and were told that we
should go down that route, however our visa consultant says the E2 is
the best way....but she only does E2's and so we are seeking
impartial advice.

Has anyone else had experience in this?
