Re-entry on F1 with child?

Hello all,

I hope someone can shed some light on this issue for me.

My wife is currently on an F1 with OPT extension.  An emergency has
come up in my home country (jamaica) so we need to go within the next
couple of days (she is not from the same country).

Will there be a problem with her being granted re-entry with her
having a child with a resident?  The child is a citizen.   Her
passport has still not been changed as yet she still has it in her
maiden name.  I am currently waiting for my oath.  At the interview  I
gave all her information, SS# etc since we got married after I began
filing for naturalization.

What are the rules and practices regarding this kind of thing?
