Hello All. Sunday will be our first wedding anniversary and landing interview is on Thursday. We also met online and burned the phone wires many hours per week and at least two emails per day. There were also the seven hour drives to visit. I was fortunate enought to obtain a job offer and come here and we were married several months later. We are both old enough to remember the days of only snail mail and serious letter writing. Writing reveals different aspect of the person and often some deeper and more substantive areas. The relationship has been a joy. All the paperwork and tediousness of the immigration process also becomes joyful as a result. Best wishes to all "elaine" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Thanks Jan for your reply, understanding and support...I know what you > mean, some people will never get what it takes to maintain and continue a > long distance "online" relationship, they will only understand it, if they > too have to and want to go through the process themselves, then I doubt they > would be so easily led to judge other people's relationship situations, be > them online or in person....all my best out to you and your hubby and your > happiness with being with one another...I'm so envious!
