*  I was reading the immigration manual OP2 . In section 7.5 (Reviewing
   an application) under assessment factors says:



&#149; Is a background check necessary? If yes, proceed

with a request for the background check.



I thought background checks are done to everyone can you explain this?





* I am sponsoring my wife with upfront medicals from Colombia

Timeline:



-sent to Mississauga               sep 15

-approved sponsorship           oct   5



She did not receive an AOR but the eclient says " We started processing
PR application on Nov 23".  Is it usal not to receive an AOR, or this is
the date they received the application?.



 Anyone applying to sponsor spouse with upfront medicals from South
 America please post timelines
