Re: Recourse

Hi Scott,

My husband is american and I am canadian and we are dealing somewhat with
what you are. My husband was here on a Student Visa for 2 years and in
October of 2003 we sent in for a change of status in Canada. It changed his
student visa over to a visitor visa until the paperwork went through for
spousal sponsership. When I sent in the paperwork for the visitor visa I
just asked for it until the paperwork was finished and they send my hubby a
visitor visa until November 2004. So his was extended for a year. Maybe
just ask them to do it yearly that way it only casts $75.00 per year instead
of $75.00 every 3 months.

Hope that helps!
