If one has a NAFTA visa to work in Canada what does one do for health insurance? Do you get a provincial health card? I'm guessing that if it were the other direction then the US company would provide coverage under it's health plan as part of the standard employee benefit package. I've got insurance coverage from the states, but it will only reimburse. So, i'd have to out of pocket everything, send off forms and wait to get a check. not very appealing. Also, how do tax issues work? I imagine i'll be paying taxes in Canada. seen a lot of info on the CIC web site about getting a visa, but nothing about what happens after. something like "5 things you need to know/do/consider after getting a nafta visa" would be nice. or maybe it's there and i just missed it? thx
