Ian, Do it yourself the paper work is straight forward. The most difficult thing is gathering all your certs & paperwork they ask for.If you get stuck just post a message on this site and loads will reply. My wife and I thought about using agent but fees put us off.We did the forms in August this year and medicals in October when asked for and we just recieved our pr visa on 28.11.03( wife is nurse and I am a diabetic). When u have done the paperwork check it over a couple of times.Save the fees for having some fun in the sun we just got back from Australia last weekend from our advanced family visit in Sydney and most of the people we spoke to living in Sydney from the UK did the paperwork them selves.
