I'm interested in finding out how to cleanse and remove toxins from
your body. Are there any benefits and drawbacks of this.
Why, yes. Soap and water do wonders for the outside, and clean water,
air and food do wonders for your insides.
The "remove toxins" idea is one often used by spammers and herb
salespeople, especially since it's really easy to give someone a steam
bath and laxatives to make them *feel* like they must be being cleaned
out. But how much they do depends a great deal on the toxin in question.
Heavy metals, for example, bind to your bones and other tissues, and the
chelating agents to help bind them to other molecules you will excrete
are themselves pretty nasty. Cleansing poisons you just ate involves
throwing up, but that does its own damage to your throat and stomach and
teeth.
What toxins are you worried about? And why are you posting to all these
newsgroups like misc.health.diabetes and misc.health.arthritis where
it's off-topic? You're going to try to sell us something, aren't you?
