This is a group NOT to impart information about alternative health. It IS a group to *discuss* various alternative medicine modalities pro *and* con. If you think that this group is for like minded (pro-alt) individuals, then you obviously have not read the charter. Why not read the charter before spouting off. >Instead, there are a few people trying to impart actual, useful, >information, and a number of shills for the government and the >pharmaceutical industry being very rude, and running down things about >which they have little or no knowledge. I realize that you think that these people are trying to impart useful information. This is debatable and is exactly what the purpose of this group is. Just because you think that information is useful does *not* necessarily mean that it is. The information may be quite wrong. Just because something is alternative does not mean it is useful, valid, etc. > I think I will try setting my >filters to plonk these people, and seeing if there is enough useful info on >this list to make it worthwhile. Your choice. I choose to listen to all viewpoints and then make up my mind on which is most reasonable. You seem to automatically assume that if it is alternative then it is good. Like I said, your choice. But please don't criticize people for expressing criticism or skepticism. After all it IS the purpose of this group to engage in debate.
