First it's "Jew Boy", now it's, "...praying to saints comes from
Satan".  The more details are revealed about Jan's psyche, the more
creepy it looks.

I'm reminded of a quote from who I believe was a Protestant clergyman
in Germany just after WWII (sorry if this skates close to violating
Godwin's Law, but I think it's pertinent):

"First they came for the Jews, but since I wasn't a Jew, I said
nothing.  Then they came for the gypsies, but since I wasn't a gypsy,
I said nothing.  Then they came for the liberals, but since I wasn't a
liberal, I said nothing.  Then they came for the Catholics, but since
I wasn't a Catholic, I said nothing.

Then they came for me, but by that time, there was no one to say
anything on my behalf..."

Jan obviously has never really tried to understand why Catholics "pray
to" saints.  [BTW -- they don't]  It's just easier to vomit forth
hateful remarks aimed at a whole class of people than to exercise a
little thoughtful consideration and curiousity.

It's a pity that someone who has lived into her 60's has yet to
acquire any wisdom.
