the usual repair for this is the cycle gear, left side, remove the motor
to get to the two-level nylon gear which just slips off a shaft.  google
for it, these were fairly availiable for a couple bucks as of a few
years ago yet.  I saved two or three from scrap-outs myself just in
case.
