Machine Status
The Machine runs fine, and until it was recently replaced by a newer
machine it was a daily use computer. The oldest hard drive (the
internal 1.2gig) sometimes makes noise sometimes, but all three Hard
Drives are configured to be bootable, so its not the end of the world
if that hard drive finally goes. The machine is currently running
MacOS 8.6 and is configured for all its peripherals. The Machine can
run MacOS 9.x if you like, but I never installed my upgrade (OS 9 is
included on the drives but not installed). The machine comes with all
my software, which includes tons of Internet Apps and Utilities,
Microsoft Office, and games (Hornet, Doom, Wing Commander, etc). I'll
put all my original copies I can find in with the machine for all the
games and software. This package includes everything you need to be
online and enjoying your Mac EXCEPT Monitor and external speakers (not
required, machine has an internal speaker). Pickup any PC VGA-style
monitor and you're ready to go!
