I'd like to know the same thing. I'm in a similiar situation. During my lunch hour I walked throughout downtown LA. I walk from 500 South Grand to 1900 South Grand and back which ends up being 1.5 miles each way for a total of 3 miles. I power walk so I get back to work within one hour. I weigh sadly 220 LBS and am 6.0 feet tall. I'd like to know how many calories I burn. I also use the stairs mostly at work instead of taking the elevator so I can get extra excerise. I feel it's better to walk during lunch than to sit for an hour. I eat before I walk. I eat a light lunch. Low fat and low sugar. I think I'm loosing weight too. Thanks, James Barry Brindisi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>... > Ok, I actually do a lot of real walking out of necessity.
