I notice there seems to be one big difference between the way you do heavyhands and the way Dr. Schwartz lays it out in his book. You are clearly recommending cutting the arc of the arm's swing before it reaches its more natural endpoint. You refer to it as accelerating and decelerating, I think. But in a sidebar titled "Don't Chop," Schwartz says "Be sure to let your descending arm return to its original mid-thigh position at rest. If you abbreviate the descending arm's motion, you will not receive the full benefit of the exercise. More important, you will tire and cramp rapidly." I have recently bought 1-pound weights and have begun to use a version of HH walking, derived from the HH instructions on your website and the book by Dr. Schwartz, on the alternate days, when I am not carrying and pumping my 6-pounders, according to my program as I have been doing it for 3 1/2 years now. I've only tried it a few times, but am definitely ready for 2 or maybe 3 pounds for each side. I also notice that he is clearly advocating raising the weight with the same side arm as the leg that is stepping. This so unnatural to me that I do it the other way around. Movies would help. Have you given any thought to putting some together?
