stationary bicycle trainer

can anyone recommend some good bicycle trainers (I hope I am calling them by
their correct name--the attatchments that hook to the back wheel of your
bicylce so that you may do stationary exercise indoors)?  What are quality
brands?  What features are important?  How much should I expect to spend?
