John doesn't understand much.  He's one of several kooks on
sci.med.nutrition who comes up with these half-assed, retarded ideas and
then defends them (in the obvious  situation of being totally wrong)
with even more retarded arguments.  You should make your point (so that
no-one is swayed by his bullshit) and then move on.

A game he likes to play is to say that all science is incorrect, except 
when he himself is citing research studies.  his little 'health is an
art, not a science' thing is part of that little game.
