If I'm any example, you won't get very far. You need to first get into a muscle-up type position, essentially like you're about to do dips on the rings, then slowly let yourself out from there. It's the "slowly" part that kills. I've got rings in my backyard but I find if I train on them too often it gets in the way of my pressing and other weight training so I'm saving that for another time.
