Once upon a time, our fellow Van Bagnol
rambled on about "Re: Running in marathons impairs immunity."
Our champion De-Medicalizing in sci.med.nutrition retorts, thusly ...
> I _did_ have
>a problem with you stating 90 minutes should be the unequivocal maximum
>for _all_ workouts
I do not have a problem with that all.
Mere commonsense should tell you that there must be an upper limit to
all workout sessions. The information on the J-shape curve for
exercise impaired immunity is more than enough info to fix the upper
limit at 90 minutes. People with a life can hardly fit 90 minutes in,
as it is.
I see no problem in making this simple decision. :)
Further, in light of the J-shape curve for exercise impaired immunity
I see even less of a benefit in training for and racing in
marathons. :)
